Morris E. Leeds (March 6, 1869 in Philadelphia – February 8, 1952) was an American electrical engineer known for his many inventions in the field of electrical measuring devices and controls. He was inducted into the Academy of Natural Sciences and American Academy of Political and Social Science. He received the Edward Longstreth Medal from the Franklin Institute in 1920,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Franklin Laureate Database - Edward Longstreth Medal 1920 Laureates )〕 the ASME Medal in 1946,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=ASME Medal )〕 and the IEEE Edison Medal in 1948.
